A Beautiful Autumn Adventure...
"Me and my son went for an autumn photoshoot in the goyt valley in early November and we had so much fun! Emma and Martin were amazing from the beginning putting myself and my son at ease. I normally hate pictures of myself but they captured so many lovely ones of us both I found it hard to choose my favourites. I would highly recommend using these guys if your thinking of having some professional pictures or your kids or your pets or as a family, not only did I get countless good photographs for us to treasure, we also had an absolute blast whilst having them taken so had a brilliant morning and I now have beautiful fun memories to treasure forever.
The photo shoot is worth every penny, the aftercare was superb, getting back to my many questions promptly and hand delivering the final prints.

Muddy Paws & Beautiful Chaos...
'Very highly recommended. I had a lovely walk in Poole's Cavern Country park with Rosie, my typically excitable Boxer dog, whilst Martin traipsed behind me taking some natural snaps. We also had a few posed for photos and a few action shots of which all captured Rosies beauty and character perfectly. I am sorry you got a little dirty'
Dinosaur Hunts & Fairy Magic...
what a great photoshoot! we have used other photographers in the past which were really good, but this experience seemed to have a bit more of a personal touch. We have a toddler who is quite shy most of the time, but within 5 minutes she was in her element and having an absolute blast! Emma & Martin had it all sorted, with props for the kids and little activities for them like spot the dinosaur and looking out for fairies in the woods. It's because of this that we got the kids true smiles and belly laughs which have made the pictures that more special! We had so much choice of beautiful pictures with so many different settings. We will definitely be using again. Can't rate highly enough! !!!
Genuine Smiles & Real Connections...
Emma is an incredibly talented photographer with a wonderful gift for working with children. She recently spent several days at our nursery capturing the most beautiful photos of my son and daughter. Her approach is truly special — she takes both traditional posed portraits and candid shots of the children playing, which creates such a lovely variety of images.
The posed photos are not only beautifully composed, but also full of creativity. Emma uses imaginative backgrounds and props — one of my favourites was a play kitchen scene with flour and dough that the children could interact with. It really brought the pictures to life.
What meant the most to me was how wonderfully she captured my neurodiverse son. He usually finds posed photos quite difficult, and it's rare for us to get pictures of him smiling. Emma managed to get several — and they were genuine, joyful smiles. The candid shots really showed his personality, and I’m so grateful for those moments she captured.
Emma is fantastic with children and has a calm, friendly presence that helps them feel relaxed. That connection shines through in every photo. The pictures are not only beautiful but also expertly edited and very reasonably priced, especially considering the time, effort, and care she puts into her work.
I couldn’t recommend her more highly — thank you, Emma, for the wonderful memories you’ve captured!

We have had a few sets of portraits from E&M Photography and can honestly say we’ve bought every photo because they’re always so beautiful! Each shot has told a different story and captured our children’s personalities. Leaf- throwing & tree climbing fun...
What a lovely experience having a photo shoot in the woods with the autumn leaves in the back ground.
With having three boys it can be a pain to get nice photo but E&M did a amazing job and the boys loved playing with the leaves and climbing in the trees. They were brillaint with the boys.

We had an autumn shoot with Emma and Martin in the Goyt Valley. From the moment the boys met them they were put at ease, my eldest jumped in the largest, muddiest of puddles you've ever seen within minutes of us meeting up and it didn't phase them remotely. We enjoyed the shoot from beginning to end. I had in mind what image I wanted for our lounge and they had the foresight and knowledge to advise about what was achievable in our local area. We are absolutely thrilled with the images that have come from the shoot and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. My only problem was deciding which photos to buy which definitely isn't a bad thing. We were two adults and two children (ages 2 & 4). Thank you very much, these are images to treasure .
A gift filled with love...
Emma and Martin are absolutely amazing! They both made the whole family feel at ease. They were fun, knowledgable and very organised. Such a brilliant couple who are fantastic at their job. Highly recommend and everyone in my family wanted extra prints of the gorgeous pictures!! Thank you both for capturing such precious pictures.

Woodland walks & a lively lurcher...
We chose E&M as we wanted pictures with our Lurcher that were natural, not just sitting posing. We met them locally, and went for a lovely walk. They took the time letting our dog run off his energy before starting - which he definitely needed!! Nothing was too much trouble, the whole time they were relaxed and friendly, getting some amazing shots of us together and great action shots of Monty jumping and running around. We can't thank them enough for capturing our dog as his natural (and a little crazy) self. Really pleased with the pictures and we now have a lovely large framed photo of us that we would never get in a studio. Thank you E&M!!

Emma captured our daughter and her personality so beautifully in her natural and candid photos. It is so evident on the photos just how comfortable ***** felt with Emma and the props she had to play with during her photo session. Some of the photos had no props at all and just captured ***** in her element reading by the trees - a simple and daily occurrence captured so candidly as a memory we will have forever. The photos are a really refreshing alternative to the traditional posed portraits that for us, and *****, would have felt forced and unnatural.
Mud, rain & match day magic...
If you’re looking for a photographer where nothing is too much trouble look no further! Martin, Emma and Charlie were amazing at our photo shoot. From the moment we met them we felt like we had known them for ages. The weather conditions were cold and wet but these guys were still lay down on the floor and doing everything they could just to get the right shot.
We have received our prints and digital photos today and they look absolutely amazing. It was so hard deciding which photos to choose, these guys really do go the extra mile.
River splashes & cheeky smiles...
Emma and Martin were so patient with my shy little girl, allowing her the time to get to know them and come out of herself to get the best smiley pictures of both her and our puppy. Poor Martin was even willing to go paddling in the River on a cold day and get himself wet just for that perfect angle to get the perfect picture of her splashing. They give 100% into what they do and are so lovely as people. I love the pictures they have captured as they have really captured the cheeky personalities of both my daughter and our pup. thank you Emma and Martin. I would highly reccomend them to anyone. xx
Gentle moments & beautiful memories...
We had the opportunity to have a photoshoot done which my husband and I wouldn't normally have done as we aren't a fan of being in front of the camera! We didn't need to worry at all, Emma and Martin were so professional and so patient with our then 9 month old son. We all had a laugh and took time for Finan to get to know them. I would 100% recommend anyone to book in and have one done, the pictures we've had back are absolutely beautiful. Thank you both so much
