Yes — the images you see here are watermarked and lightly edited. Once purchased, they’ll receive a full professional edit. Small tweaks (like toning down runny noses, bruises, or distractions) can be requested in the notes section of your order form, and I’ll confirm what’s possible.
No — raw images are not available for purchase. They don’t represent the finished quality of my work and aren’t suitable for printing or sharing. Every image you receive will be fully edited to the standard I’m proud to deliver.
Sometimes a square crop is needed for safeguarding (e.g., cropping another child out) or for compositional reasons. I’ll always try to provide both square and rectangular versions, but please keep this in mind when choosing print sizes.
Often yes — just drop me a message. Occasionally, Black & White is the only option due to lighting conditions.
Turnaround times vary depending on order volume, but I’ll always keep you updated - drop me a message and I will let you know where I am up too
Because each order is custom‑produced, refunds or exchanges aren’t usually possible unless there’s a printing error. If you have any concerns, please contact me and I’ll do my best to help.
Yes — your gallery is secure and only accessible via your unique link.
Yes — once purchased, you’re welcome to share your images with family and friends. Please remember they’re for personal use only and not for resale or commercial purposes.
No problem — just get in touch and I’ll resend it to you.
Absolutely — I keep the images on file for up to 12 months so let me know and I will pop your gallery back online for you to place another order.
Yes — you’re welcome to share your gallery link with close family. They can place their own orders directly, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the photos.
I know it might feel like a lot, but that’s because I find it hard to choose! I’d rather you see all the lovely moments than delete images that could be special to you. Every child shines in different ways — sometimes it’s a big smile, sometimes a quiet look, or a playful moment with friends. By sharing more, you get the chance to decide which photos feel most meaningful for you.
Nursery galleries are available for a set period to give families plenty of time to choose their favourites. Once the gallery closes, I archive the images securely. If you miss the deadline, please get in touch — in most cases I can reopen access or help you place a late order.
Please note that after the cut‑off date, delivery charges may apply and there may be a longer wait, as I’ll be working around other jobs already booked in. I’ll always do my best to help, but ordering within the gallery window ensures the smoothest and quickest service.
It is entirely up to you, although I will usually chat with you and work out what would be best for your family. The possibilities are honestly endless. We live in such a beautiful place – there is so much to explore. It also depends what you like doing as a family and what you would like the photographs to look like. I can come to your home, or we can head out somewhere that you enjoy spending time, or I can suggest options. There are so many amazing locations to choose from so I’ve got lots to suggest so don't worry if you don’t have anywhere in mind.
*Travel costs may incur if further a field but this will be discussed beforehand.
Sessions usually take around 60-90 minutes, although I always suggest you allow 2 hours just so that we don’t feel rushed. I’m happy to be flexible and work around you, so we can stop for snacks and breaks, etc. Don't worry we are in no way strict with times. We go with how everyone is feeling on the day. Showcase sessions vary with location and outfit changes.
We’ll reschedule if you guys are sick, and we’ll also reschedule if I’m sick!
It’s no problem at all... Its life and it happens, especially with little ones...If someone isn’t feeling great they wont enjoy the session and you to get the best photos you can. Your deposit will move to the new date!
It’s Derbyshire its a big possibility and especially Buxton I find has its own weather system so there’s always a chance we’ll get a rainy forecast, no matter if you book your session in winter or summer! If it is raining, we will reschedule your session. If the forecast looks wet, we can either make the call the night before, or play it by ear and wait til morning. I’ll be in contact in the days leading up to the session to chat about our options. The weather can make a huge difference to the photographs, so I’d usually recommend waiting for a better day. Or you are very welcome to go ahead with wellies and raincoats if you are feeling brave! I only book a certain amount of sessions a month to give us the flexibility to rearrange should you wish to if the weather isn't kind to us on the day of your session.
I will curate the photos taken and give each photo an initial edit. You will then receive a password to our private clients page. Here you will find your own album which you will have a private password for. These images will be watermarked and not full quality but don't worry you will still be able to view them without a problem.
I do, but ONLY with permission from you. I really appreciate being able to share the photographs I capture for you at your session. Viewing my work is how people see what style of photographer I am. However I competently understand if you do not want images shared there is no pressure, I would never share any images with out consent.
No, editing is a part of my whole process, not just capturing the photos themselves. I take huge pride in my work and will only give you beautifully edited, finished photographs that look their very best. For that reason the RAW, unedited images are not available for purchase or otherwise, simply because they are only "half-done" and not the finished product the way I envision it to be. Only I know how the images are designed to look - and my editing process is as much a part of my artistic skill as the way I take the photograph.
Yes! Please do! I love when people share their images online with friends and family! If you can tag us in your post that would be amazing. However please don’t apply any additional filters to alter or change them in any way.
Of course, I don't have packages that restrict what you get so you can choose exactly what you want from a range of products. Prices start at £10 for a 7x5
If you purchase the digital of the image, Yes, of course! That said, I do like to warn people that not all prints are created equal. A lot of places will print things with strange looking colors, greenish casts, too much contrast, and just in general they wont turn out the way they are supposed to look! I spend hours editing photos to make them look a specific way, and bad printing totally reverses all my hard work. Because of this, I always recommend that you order prints through me if you want to make sure they come out perfectly. I really just want you to have high quality prints that are true to colour. Download image come with a complimentary print. I use an amazing award winning Professional Photo Printing service, who provide the very best, high quality professional photo prints.
Yes! My gear is insured, I have liability insurance and I also have a current Enhanced DBS Check.
There’s nothing special you need to do. Children don’t need to “perform” for me — I follow their lead, keep things playful, and work gently around their mood. Please don’t worry if the day feels a bit wobbly. It’s all completely normal.
Yes — gently. I’ll guide you into good light and offer simple prompts so you never feel unsure of what to do, but I keep things loose and natural. The aim is for you to feel comfortable, not choreographed.
Just send me a message through my contact page or email me directly. I’ll guide you through choosing a date, location, and the type of session that suits you best.
Life happens — especially with little ones. If you need to reschedule due to illness, weather, or unexpected circumstances, just let me know as soon as you can and we’ll do our very best to find another suitable date.
It’s completely okay. I work with children every day, and I expect wiggling, shyness, big feelings, and everything in between. I take my time, follow their pace, and create space for them to settle. Some of the most beautiful images come from the in‑between moments.
Creative sports sessions can take place in a hall, gym, or outdoor space — it all depends on what you’d like to showcase. We’ll chat through your ideas, look at the options available, and choose a location that suits the activity and the feel you’re going for. Once everything is planned, I’ll confirm the exact space and details with you before the session.
